Oceanside Meet: Why is it important to have a diverse team that spans multiple generations?
Nana Tseng, one of our inaugural Board Members and Chief Procurement Officer and VP of External Manufacturing Operations at onsemi, believes that this combination of perspectives creates a great balance between stability and risk. Gen Z and other younger generations are more willing to take risks and ask the crucial question of "Why do we have to do things this way?" On the other hand, teammates from older generations bring years of industry experience and risk management to the table. This counterbalance between maintaining the proper constraints yet pushing for improvement produces the best results for a team.
